“You won’t know until you try.”
When I started poling I didn’t know if I could do it. Out of shape. Hitting 40. Recovering from surgery. I gave it a try because pole looked like so much fun, and it was, and it is! Years later I’m still poling because I feel good, confident, and happy. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to share my love of pole with more people.
After poling I like to soak in a nice hot bath while playing online games and catching up on social media.
When I see a photo or a video of myself on the pole and just for a moment wonder who that sexy person is then I do a totally geeky happy dance.
What’s your tidbit
Even if I carry a bottle of water with me all day and it’s right there, I won’t finish it. I know, I know, but I won’t. I struggled with the lethargy and fuzzy headedness of dehydration until my sister suggested I get a blender. I found that tossing some fruit and veggies in a blender with some water and protein powder only takes a few minutes and I will drink it all! That has been my secret weapon against dehydration.
